Join Our National Team of Verifiers

We are excited to grow our national verifier team! The NECPA Council and Commission accepts verifier applications on a rolling basis from dedicated early childhood professionals. Our verifiers are vital to the accreditation process, providing the expertise and objective assessments needed to support high-quality early childhood programs across the country.

The NECPA Verifier Application Process

To ensure the highest level of expertise in our assessment process, all applicants must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid certificate in basic and infant/child/adult First Aid and CPR.

Educational Requirements (must hold one of the following):

      • Bachelor’s Degree: A BA/BS in a child-related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Child Development).
      • Associate’s Degree: An AA/AS in a child-related field.

      • Leadership Training: Documented training in leadership skills (e.g., communication, team building). Note: This requirement is waived for current NAC® holders.

3. Interview & Professional Reference Check Qualified candidates will participate in a professional interview with the NECPA Commission. At this stage, your professional references will be contacted to attest to your expertise and character within the early childhood field.

4. Decision Determination Following the interview and reference checks, the NECPA Commission will make a final determination regarding your application. You will be notified via email of your acceptance status. Successful applicants will then receive orientation materials and be officially added to our active verifier roster for upcoming site visits.
